Ever since he was 12 this young man; at first called himself "D", had written rhymes and free-styled with friends. But it was here in this void that Damir put down words and raps together in a thought provoking way to set his dreams, visions and random thoughts, not only to write off the hook verses but to create a new flavor of making music. A mixture of Rap, hip hop and electronic.

Before and after his completion of University he continued to piece together the compositions of his work and put into perspective his experiences performing live throughout Asia, Europe and North America.

Having lived in Asia, Europe and North America - Damir spread his music independently and won his own victories and battles by keeping his dreams alive. Lyrical victories and self determination which was headed in the direction of a being picked up by a label.

That is when Damir began to concentrate more on writing songs and performing locally in various major cities including Tokyo, Bangkok, Seoul and the Toronto area. His neuvo and dynamic style got him noticed by labels and made it difficult for the labels to deny his talent, but being uncharacteristic and un-package-able just as difficult for them to sign him.

And so Damir sought the independent route, he approached HMV and sold his first album independently and added his "LIVE at the ELMOcombo" show to a LIVE CD which he also sold. He also finish an electronic CD which was never released "Odd's And End's" but well known in the underground circuits of Toronto, Tokyo and New York City.

Damir kept writing and his project turned into an album that was titled, "Blow The Sound" Without any distribution, production budget advertisement, or label of any kind he sold an impressive number of copies and latter offered the full single as a free full download on his website.

"Black And White" is the third album by Damir which has 4 new song-singles-mp3's. Damir is an emcee from the world, having lived in three different continents and well known amongst the battle circuits. His rap style and message is far beyond the standard battle hype but at the same time stays focused on socially - worldly relevant lyrics.

Damir's vision and insight is far reaching and much more worldly. "I've seen a lot of hip hop culture with kids practicing break dancing out on the streets in Japan, Korea and Thailand.  I've seen the whole movement growing all over the world. I think I've really learned a lot especially because I know where we came from. From living in Toronto, NYC and Tokyo and going to school, traveling the world to seeing kids across the world loving hip hop and want to embrace it and be like it. So I feel it's growing and growing non-stop! And it happened naturally by music traveling over seas to people getting a chance to share each others cultures. It's great".

100 percent independent, and the drive to re-locate to Asia to expand his fan base - he now searches for an avenue that can provide a suitable budget.

Although relatively new in the hip hop world Damir maintains a span of over 8 years of musical experience and remains a favorite among fans worldwide. Having performed in Japan and toured in Europe with his independent label BTS Music, Damir puts it into perspective and describes the experience to be a chance of a life-time. Everyday something is happening, traveling, writing in the studio, producing the music; this is the world and mind of Damir when you see his performance live and you hear his album.

With Damir returning to Toronto from his Asian World Tour: Japan, Tokyo, South Korea, Seoul and Thailand, Bangkok, we can only look forward to hearing more of this dedicated man who keeps the inspiration alive in all of us.

Damir continually matured as an artist, evolving from a punk street kid to an educated rapper.
