Prevail was founded by Justin Woods, Chris Knight, Ed Scott, Brian Horban, and Lloyd Ellis in September of 2008. With influences ranging from death metal to old school thrash and R & B, Prevail hits a sweet spot in today’s metal genre by being a perfect mix of heavy, groovy, melodic and driving and has been compared to bands like Sevendust, Godsmack, Disturbed and Bury Your Dead.
Prevail has just released their debut EP, which includes 6 original songs, and is available on iTunes. Recording was done at Imperial Mastering in Concord, CA, where the band rehearses and produced by Ed Scott with the final mastering was done at Skylab Studios, Los Angeles, ca.
