All American Tragedy was founded in 2000 by guitarist Rob Pope and vocalist Jake Austell. After a few personnel changes the band solidfied their line-up in early 2007. Since then, the band has honed its signature sound on the road and recently completed their first full-length album.
The band draws on classic influences such as AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, and Van Halen, with more modern influences coming from bands by the likes of Korn, Disturbed, Rage Against the Machine, and Metallica.
All American Tragedy's sound is a fine mixture of southern and classic rock, metal, and hard rock. All five members work together to blend into one distinct sound, with no one instrument having complete control.
AAT has played all across Alabama, and into Georgia and Mississippi. The band has also opened up for national acts such as Crossfade. The guys of All American Tragedy are known for their high-engery performances and high musical quality shows. The band garuntees a good time will by had by all.
